Upcoming Public and non-WASH Events

This is a list of some events in the Baltimore to Philadelphia area that may be of interest to humanists. If members of WASH are interested in getting together to go to one of the events as a group, send a note to bsh @ wash.org and I will add a request to the notice. Please send a time and place for the group to meet.

Special Events

Wednesday, November 29, 6:30 pm: Town Hall Meeting: Clean Cars, Energy Independence, and Global Warming. A public meeting on global warming sponsored by Chesapeake Climate Action Network. Location: Towson Unitarian Universalist Church, 1710 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, MD. Directions: Baltimore beltway to exit 27B. Go 1.3 miles north. Church is on the left.

Ongoing Events

The Human Values Network (HVN), an arts and philosophy group, will meet in Towson (meets the last Sunday of each month). For the location and other information, contact: Mike O'Mara (romike @ crosslink.net).

The Baltimore Church and State Meetup has a gathering on the first Tuesdays of the month

The Baltimore Philosophy Club meets on the second Friday of the month. Contact alchemy @ bcpl.net for information

Baltimore Atheists Meetup meets on the third Tuesday of the month.

Baltimore Ethical Society meets every Sunday at their building in downtown Baltimore.

Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia, with meeting in Bryn Mawr, PA, on the first Tuesdays of the month.
